When ignorant people see someone who is old, they are disgusted and horrified, even though they too will be old some day.  I thought to myself:  I don’t want to be like the ignorant people.  After that, I couldn’t feel the usual intoxication with youth anymore.

Όσοι αγνοούν την αλήθεια, όταν αντικρίζουν γέρο άνθρωπο νιώθουν αποστροφή και τρόμο, μολονότι και οι ίδιοι κάποια μέρα θα γεράσουν.  Συλλογίστηκα: δε θέλω να είμαι σαν αυτούς που αγνοούν την αλήθεια.  Από τότε δεν μπορούσα πια να νιώσω τη μέθη που προκαλεί συνήθως η νεότητα.

Όσοι αγνοούν την αλήθεια, όταν αντικρίζουν άρρωστο άνθρωπο, νιώθουν αποστροφή και τρόμο, μολονότι και οι ίδιοι κάποια μέρα θα αρρωστήσουν.  Συλλογίστηκα: δε θέλω να είμαι σαν αυτούς που αγνοούν την αλήθεια.  Από τότε δεν μπορούσα πια να νιώσω τη μέθη που προκαλεί συνήθως η υγεία.

Kids are right

Kids must be more and more aggressive.  There’s nothing else left for them to be.  Period.

They ought to be at least a thousand times more aggressive than they have been so far.

They have to kill all this shit around them because all this shit around them is killing them.

They have to be assault weapons every minute of every day.  They have to destroy before they are destroyed.

The only thing they ought to remember, though, is who they should point their guns and stilettos at.  Whose throat they ought to slit, whose heart they stab, whose brains they must blow.

Not on each other’s, but on our heads must they drop the hydrogen bombs of their despair.  And we must stand silent and motionless as they do.  Because we have fucked up their life.

Otherwise, they are going to turn into the same miserable, palsied cowards like us.  Period.
